Your Carao gift card can be used as payment, the same way a credit card is used, towards your online purchase in our online store or in our Facebook Shop. The gift card holds a balance, which can be spent over more than one order. Gift card balances are applied to the total value of an order, which can include taxes and shipping. Purchase totals will be deducted from the card’s overall value until it reaches zero.
When buying a gift card for someone else
If you want to buy a gift card for someone else, you will need to forward the gift card email to the recipient.
Use of your gift card online
When making a purchase in our online store, you can redeem the value of the gift card by entering its unique code at checkout. This code isn't case sensitive. When you redeem a gift card, the checkout displays one of the following options:

If the balance available on the gift card is greater than or equal to the order total, then you can click Complete order.

If the balance available on the gift card is less than the order total, then you will be prompted to choose a second payment method for the balance before placing the order.
Carao will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or misused cards. No gift cards can be replaced, reissued or redeemed for cash or applied to any credit card balances. Carao is not responsible or liable for lost or stolen gift cards. Orders for physical gift cards cannot be canceled, as they are processed in real time and the value is applied to the card immediately.
