Materials
Each Carao piece is individually handmade in 925 silver (with love) by expert silversmiths. 925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure Silver and 7.5% Copper.
Vermeil
Gold vermeil consists of a thick layer of gold which gives the pieces their long-lasting color. We use 18k gold layered on sterling silver.
Pearls
We use cultured freshwater pearls that we carefully select for craft all Carao pieces from our Pearl Collection.
Everyday care
Even materials as strong as sterling silver and gold vermeil deserve some love. When using your #caraojewels, avoid direct contact with chemicals and alcohol found in perfume or other cosmetics and cleaning products.
Since both materials are H2O sensitive, avoid water when wearing your Carao piece and never expose to thermal waters or ocean water. Always remove your vermeil jewelry before exercising.
After each wear, clean your sterling silver and vermeil jewelry with a microfiber cloth. And remember, always keep your #caraojewels safe in their pouch.
