That extra touch of ruby sparkle you need once in a while. This limited edition ruby heart was designed by our father as a gift for us and our sister to celebrate the new year. It’s the second design he’s created that we’ve included in our collection. The first one is our best selling Evil Eye charm.

Our materials
Each Carao piece is individually and ethically handmade in 925 silver by expert silversmiths. 925 Sterling Silver is made of 92.5% pure Silver. Since ours is nickel-free, it is hypoallergenic.
Our gold vermeil consists of a thick layer of gold which gives the pieces their long-lasting color. We use 18k gold layered on sterling silver.
Pearls
We use cultured freshwater pearls that we carefully select for craft all Carao pieces from our Pearl Collection.
Gemstones
All of our gemstones are lab-created. This means they are authentic gemstones but are human-made instead of mined from the earth. All gemstones are AAA quality.
Design and sustainability
We create Elevated Essentials: minimal, clean pieces that always feel in style, that you can play with, and cherish for years to come.
Each piece is conceived in our Costa Rica and Milan studios and crafted in collaboration with expert silversmiths across Latin America, respecting the artisans who keep our Latin traditions alive.
We use locally sourced silver and gold, and recycle materials from our own production.
