Shipping in Costa Rica

We ship orders on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Orders within the GAM are delivered through Correos de Costa Rica’s EMS Courier service or a private courier. Your order will be delivered within 1–7 business days after your purchase is placed.

Orders outside the GAM are shipped through Correos de Costa Rica’s EMS Courier service and will be delivered within 4–7 business days after your purchase is placed.

Please keep in mind that Correos de Costa Rica may experience delivery delays, so Carao cannot guarantee an exact delivery date.

Shipping information

To help make sure your order arrives without any issues, please provide a complete and accurate shipping address, including directions, house or apartment number, and any other necessary references.

Carao is not responsible for delays or additional charges caused by incorrect or incomplete information, or for delivery errors made by Correos de Costa Rica or a private courier.

To help you track your order, we’ll either put you in contact with the courier or send you a Correos de Costa Rica tracking number so you can follow your package here.

If neither you nor an authorized person is available when Correos de Costa Rica attempts delivery, they will leave a notification and make a second delivery attempt. If the package cannot be delivered on the second attempt, you’ll receive a final notification and will need to pick it up at your nearest Correos de Costa Rica branch within 3 business days.

If your package is returned because of missing information or because it was not picked up within that period, an additional ₡3,000 shipping fee will apply to send it again.
